We are educators and technologists working together to better education through STEAM integration in and out of the classroom in partnership with industry.
Laurie Carey Consulting was founded with a mission to use brain-based learning and coaching models to create positive outcomes across education and professional development communities, where technology is used as a tool for supporting more productive and engaging STEAM learning experiences. Understanding more about the brain allows us to facilitate more effective one-on-one and one-to-many interactions that help generate positive and empowering outcomes, supporting both teachers and students in classroom engagements, as well as supporting both managers and employees in the workplace.
As much as we enjoy delivering our brain-based professional development programs to our Education and Corporate clients, we also have a passion for helping both established and start-up not-for-profit organizations with their technology needs. As technologists ourselves, and the sister organization to a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization, We Connect The Dots, Inc., we know firsthand how to help non-profit organizations with their cloud technology service needs. Laurie Carey Consulting specializes in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementations.
Our sister organization, We Connect The Dots (WCTD), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that creates immersive STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) learning programs for students.
Started in 2012 by former Microsoft employee, Laurie Carey, WCTD has grown to impact the lives of thousands of students around the world. WCTDs' mission is to connect students with educational resources, industries, and real-world experience to open up new opportunities and give students the skills they need to have successful careers in the workforce of the 21st century, regardless of their economic circumstances.
Impacting students at a local, national, and global level, our programs create a hunger for learning that empowers students to find their own paths to success.
